Puerto Rican league "LBPRC" (Liga de Béisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente) announced on Oct 21, 2025, before the start of the 2025-2026 season, that their league was rebranded to the new name "LA PRO".
Fun fact: If you look in detail to the chart, you will notice that there is only one narrow time frame of the year where baseball takes a brief pause, that is, during the second week of February, which normally is the week where pitchers and catchers are reporting to their respective MLB team spring training camps.
